Chukie Agbogun is the Founder and CEO of One Strike, a community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering youth through structured play, mentorship, and personal development. With deep roots in both discipline and service, Chukie brings a unique blend of lived experience and leadership to his work. Of Nigerian descent and the son of a late military father, Chukie was raised with a strong foundation in resilience, structure, and responsibility. These values continue to shape his approach to leadership and youth development today. He is the proud father of one child and, through his work, has become a consistent father figure and mentor to many young people across his community. Through One Strike, Chukie has created and led a wide range of programs in partnership with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. His work focuses on building confidence, discipline, and direction in young people, particularly through physical training, mentorship, and community engagement. His programs are designed not only to support youth facing adversity, but to help all young people grow into strong, capable leaders. Chukie is also an active community leader in Kingston, serving as a board member of Latin Outreach Unity and Development (LOUD) and Harambee. In these roles, he continues to collaborate across organizations, helping to bridge communities and expand opportunities for youth and families. Known for his presence, consistency, and ability to connect, Chukie leads with both strength and care. His work is rooted in the belief that when young people are given structure, support, and real opportunities, they can transform their lives and the communities around them.

Andrai Bailey is a dedicated and heart-warming mentor/coach at One Strike, who has been mentoring/coaching the youth for over a decade now. Andrai provides a safe space for your children to build strong relationships, making learning exciting, and further advances confidence. Bailey was an exceptional basketball player at Kingston High School, which led to him receiving a full scholarship at St. Lawrence University. He then pursued a degree in Performance Communication and Arts. Beyond mentoring, Andrai enjoys making music, training kids in their specialized sport, and giving back to the community that he is from and a part of. Andrai's main goal is to give back to his community and to the kids that were deprived of proper guidance/mentoring.

Fabi Payton is a strategist at One Strike who supports operations and administrative efforts with care and intention. With a background in strategic support and organizational coordination, she helps keep the work running smoothly behind the scenes. Once a classroom teacher, she has a deep love for kids and believes wholeheartedly in the power of One Strike’s work to positively shape the lives of every child and family it serves.

Nicole M. Legname is a New York State Certified School Psychologist with over 30 years of experience supporting students across a wide range of developmental levels. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology. Nicole brings a strong foundation in child development and behavior therapy, with a focus on creating tailored, student-centered interventions that address academic challenges, social-emotional needs, and mental health concerns. Her areas of specialization include social-emotional learning, ADHD, learning disabilities, and trauma-informed care. Throughout her career, Nicole has worked closely with students, families, and educators to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized support plans, and foster environments where students can thrive both academically and emotionally. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, meaningful relationship-building, and a deep commitment to helping each student reach their full potential. Nicole is also a passionate advocate for student mental health, actively working to reduce stigma around seeking support and to promote healthy coping strategies. She is deeply committed to equity in education and consistently incorporates culturally responsive practices to effectively support diverse student populations.

Coach Mack is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience working for the office of children and family services beginning in the early 2000s coach mack work closely with inner city, youth and children from unstable households. after progressing through various roles ultimately becoming supervisor of redirection in the education department where he was trained in therapeutic crisis intervention, as well as playing a huge role in the schools positive behavior incentive system, (PBIS) equipping students with the skills to grow while effectively supporting and redirecting the youth to make better choices. In addition to his professional work Coach Mack has been actively volunteering in the community for over 10 years. Coach Mack have Mentor neighborhood youth through flag football ,youth basketball and other community programs. making a positive impact on the lives of children from all cultures and backgrounds.

Alexis Nuzzi is a 31-year-old born and raised resident of Ulster County and a devoted mother of five amazing children. Her life is deeply rooted in care, compassion, and showing up for others, not just within her own family but across her entire community. As a natural caregiver, Alexis has supported people of all ages, bringing patience, strength, and empathy to every space she enters. She has been an employee of One Strike since 2024, where she continues to build on her commitment to helping others and creating meaningful impact. Alexis brings both lived experience and heart into her work, understanding firsthand the challenges many families face. As a single mother who has navigated and overcome many struggles, Alexis is driven by a powerful purpose: to help as many families and children as possible. Her experiences have shaped her into someone who not only understands hardship, but actively works to create pathways forward for others. Alexis is passionate about bringing people together and strengthening community bonds. She believes that real change happens when people feel supported, connected, and seen. Through her work and her everyday actions, she is dedicated to building a stronger, more unified community while uplifting those who need it most.
